Playin' catch up

So on Friday the 13 I got my wisdom teeth takin out and have been out for a couple of days with a ton of homework to catch up on, a biology test failed and getting back in the flow of things! It's been awesome being able to catch up and not living on the couch for a while. I kinda missed being busy!!...AND...I'm not posting pics up of that event. Nope.


Also, last Saturday PJ and I went down to Cedar City to see if we could find us and our friends a place to set up for probably a couple of years. PJ's friend Logan and his wife Carolyn found us some places to check out since they live in Cali right now. So we were down there and we picked a winner!! We all filled out applications for it over the weekend and we'll probably hear by Tuesday if it's ours! It's a little townhome in the Southern part of Cedar. It's a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom w/fenced backyard. Since both of us couples are trying to move into the townhome, since the other side was available also, we will be paying $575 a month!! I'm kinda depressed now in the place we're living in now after I saw this place. We're merely paying $797 for a 1 bedroom...and that's it. Not to mention for the past 3 months we had to add $150 to our rent to pay for the garage repair (my fault) and that was about $950 for 3 months. Holy crap!


PJ's going to talk to the management today and get us out of our contract! But here's a pic of the outside of the new place. I'm not going to post all the pics until I know for sure that we're out of our crappy contract and when we've found out about the other place! I'm praying so hard that we can get into this place. It would be nice to bring rent down, and PJ can get going in his schooling. It would be a huge blessing.

All That Jazz

So The opener Scrimmage game for the jazz was tonight and can I just say how I love the Jazz! Since I was a little hoopster, John Stockton was my hero! I just fell in love with the game and the Jazz! It was great to see them at the White and Blue game tonight and see the rookies play along with there professional teammates and lead the new jazz team along! Sigh... I do love me some Matt Harping. He's been with the team for 11 years!! He is my absolute favorite on that team since Malone and Stockton retired their Jerseys!
















PJ loves me sooo much he lets me love the Jazz and I love him soooo much to let him love the Spurs. It gives me a good excuse to go to a Jazz vs. Spurs game in SLC. ha ha ha. Oh I can't wait for the season!!

I loved conference this past week. Ha even though I was asleep for most of it, and was distracted by the Leah, and packing to stay over at the Stewart's for the weekend, I really needed some of those talks. Sometimes the best thing about conference is hearing something that catches you off guard and realizing that what they said was EXACTLY what you needed to hear. Even when you didn't even think about it.

I'm really talking about Elder Uchtdorf's (spelling?) talk on Saturday morning. "God doesn't need our love. We need His love." I have forgotten just how much love God has for me. I get so busy and frustrated about my hand that life has dealt me AND I FORGET! I was kinda taken back and really overwhelmed with his talk. I can't forget how much He loves me. He loves me even though I'm not a doctor, or have trouble with paying tithing, or let a lot of slip-ups while driving. I have forgotten that. I love Him and need to show Him appreciation a whole lot more and not forget. Cuz without His love, I'm nothing!

Skool Daiz

Sorry it's been almost a couple of months for me to update. School has started back up and I finally put my rear in gear to go back. I'm back here at UVU aka High School Re-union everyday. But that's ok I know that I know at least a handful of people in that school that I went to school with way back when...4 years ago. But it's been great. I had a job with my home teacher who was an Insurance Broker. I helped in assisting him for about 4 months when a couple of weeks ago, he decided to let me go. He needed to find someone that could work full time and be another Licensed Agent also. Crap. So here I am searching for a JAY OH BEE and going to school. It's hard to find a job that works with my school schedule since I worked my school schedule around my work schedule that I had. But ah well something will come up. My mom has helped me out immensely letting me cut felt for her and earn a little money on the side which helps. I wake up early in the morning to cut for about 3 hours (falling asleep in the middle of it here and there), get ready for school, drive 20 minutes to school from 11-3 and then head back home for the homework, dinner making and more cutting. So it's been kinda hecka crazy but I prefer crazy over doing nothing. Nothing exciting but that's my life for the past couple of weeks. Hopefully something RANDOM happens that makes my life more exciting....oh I did however see the ghostbuster mobile in Orem today. That's as random as it gets today!

So Here I am

So here I am "blogging". I figured, what the heck, might as well. It would be nice to throw down some experiences I have had and if anybody is interested that they can fall in and read! Also I'll be starting a photography blog that I can put down some of my pics since I love to take pictures and all! I'll try and keep this thing updated but I'm not promising anything. I'll start out by a little bit about myself and Phil.

Phil and Kim

Phil and I met about a year and a half ago. I was working at KFC in Spanish Fork and Phil was working at Domino's. I was working one night and my co-workers and I were having a "rush" day. So busy we were never able to settle down. It finally started to die down around closing time and we were starving. We decided to order pizza and the only place we knew that was good and could deliver was Domino's. So we called and ordered.

Phil was the one that delivered the pizza to us. We talked and for a bit while we gave him separate checks of us splitting the money. I told him I had a friend's sister that worked there and he knew her and we talked a little bit more than he finished the job and we said goodbye and he left. I told Melinda, my co-worker, that he was soooo cute! And that I'd never see him again! But the next day my friend's sister that worked at Domino's texted me and said Phil wanted to know if I was available or dating anybody. I told her I was VERY available. So she gave Phil my phone number and we texted and called each other for a bit before we were finally able to go out.

We dated for about 7 months before we got engaged in May 2008 and were married in the Manti Temple on Aug 2 2008. We're loving the married life and starting to adjust to the major changes in life that will be happening. Hopefully I'll be able to keep updates on these changes we will go through! I'm just so glad I married my Best Friend! I don't know what I would do without him and I'm a very lucky girl!
